The Fred Astaire Franchise began in 1947 when the legendary dancer, Fred Astaire, co- founded the company. Whether you would like to be a great social dancer, or become a competitor, this is a great place to learn dances from traditional ballroom to nightclub dancing. We offer lessons in all areas, including waltz, fox-trot, swing, cha-cha, salsa, mambo, merengue, tango, argentine tango and others. Gabriela Jileva – co-owner/ manager and dance specialist started dancing and competing in Ballroom at the age of 10 in her native Bulgaria where she won National Open International Standard title and represented her country to the World Cup Championships in Vienna, Austria. She has been with the Fred Astaire Organization for more than 10 years and has been awarded top teacher for the state of NJ. Gabriela has a bachelor degree in Finance. Gaby’s favorite thing about the dance business is the people! She loves helping to develop their talents no matter what level of dancer they are. She says "seeing the excitement on their face, whether it's because they just learned a box step or placed first in a National Competition is always a wonderful experience for a teacher to have. I don't think I'll ever get used to it."
Greg Fidurski – co-owner/ competition director and dance specialist is originally from Poland and has nearly 22 years of successful dance experience. He was the Polish National Youth and Open International Standard Champion and represented his country to many of the worlds most prestigious International Championships while running his own Dance School for children. In the relatively short period of time he has been in the United States he proved himself as one of the most successful dance teachers and competitors in both pro/am and professional divisions. Both Greg and Gaby were members of their countries national Formation teams and represented them in both European and World Championships held in Germany.  In 2006 Greg and Gaby joined their talents and started to dance and compete together and only 1 month after their first competition they became the National Fred Astaire Open International Standard Champions. In that same year dancing less then a year together they became National Rising Star finalist. In 2007 the couple defeated their national Fred Astaire Open International Standard title and became International Standard Rising star vice-champions as well as Masters World Cup finalist and Classic Show Dance vice-champions and were winners of many Rising Star, Open and Show Exhibition Championships throughout the country. In 2008 for the third time in 3 years they became Fred Astaire National Open International Standard Champions as well as World Masters vice champions.
Greg and Gaby are loved by their students for their cheerful personalities and professional teaching skills. They will help you develop and enjoy your dancing, whether you are a beginner or an advanced student!
Greg Delekta- Dance Specialist. Originally from Poland, Greg began dancing at the young age of 14 at an all children's dance school. In a short amount of time, he fell in love with dancing. Throughout the years, Greg successfully competed in International Standard and Latin divisions. He was a finalist at United States Dancesport Championships in Youth International Standard and a top three finalist in Youth 10 Dance.
Greg’s passion for dancing encourages him to explore all styles of ballroom dancing. His repertoire includes American Smooth, American Rhythm, and novelty dances like: salsa, bachata, and Argentine tango. Greg’s success on the dance floor is reflected strongly on his other endeavors. He is one of the top soccer officials in the country. He graduated from the prestigious Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Arts in history and ancient civilizations.
Rachel Kane- Dance Instructor. Rachel began studying dance, primarily ballet, tap & jazz, at the age of 5. She participated in many different programs and studied under wonderful teachers at such places as The University of Arts in Philadelphia, Point Park College in Pittsburgh, and The Radio City Rockette Summer Intensive Program in New York City. Rachel also has a love for acting and has studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City. She is thrilled to be a part of Fred Astaire, especially the beautiful Morristown studio & team! Rachel is dedicated to continuing to develop her own dancing, the Morristown studio, and to helping her students enjoy their individual journeys!
