Through time and experience, the Fred Astaire Dance Studio Organization has developed this idea into an organized format known as the Fred Astaire Trophy System. The Fred Astaire Trophy System sets forth a superb teaching procedure that brings new happiness, fun and enjoyment to the lives of millions through better dancing. It is a step-by-step building block process to greater dance and personal achievement. The first Trophy Program available to new students within the Fred Astaire Organization is the Bronze Program. The Bronze Trophy Program is designed for the person who wishes to become a Good Social Dancer. It is the most popular standard for our students. A Bronze dancer is considered fun to dance with in all the popular Social dances, and they have complete confidence in the figures taught. Bronze dancer have the necessary styling to create a pleasant appearance on the dance floor and can cope with almost any dance occasion.

Whitley Phan started dancing at the end of January 2008. She came to the studio referred by a friend who also has been taking dance lessons in the Fred Astaire Organization. Within 2 months she has completed the first three programs and advanced to the Bronze Trophy Program. She started dancing for fun, now together with her teacher Greg Fidurski she is preparing for her first show case and first newcomer competition. Whitley Phan who is a business owner and mother of four, found a new hobby, a great way to exercise and do what she loves – dance. Congratulations to her for advancing to the program that gives students lifetime of dancing.
